We had a fun day exploring the vacant homes in my neighborhood...Isn't she gorgeous?! I think my favorite photo is the second one - it's slightly out of focus but sometimes emotion trumps technicality. Don't you think?

Homemade Infusions (Food Photography)

Been a while since I shot food and wine. But I was inspired by these infusions made by my personal chef boyfriend. Lillet, Green Tea, Ginger ... I don't know the others. It's liquor. And it's good. Real good. Like the best Vodka you ever had good.

No, I don't normally let children in my care eat cake like this. It's just that my Meyer Lemon Coffee cake was an epic failure (lovely, but totally uncooked on the inside - next time I'll use the right pan!), so we had to have at least little fun with it.
