I was lucky to get to San Diego considering the snowstorm we had a few weeks ago. It was a little chilly (surfers wore their hats and booties), but SO sunny. Here is Del Mar beach, my favorite.

Sometimes we snowshoe or maybe cross-country ski, but this is really how many of us in Chicago spend the winter: indoors, with amenities. And don't forget the hot chocolate and plentiful carbs.
